It looks like the bathroom overhaul is finally here.
The San Francisco 49ers announced plans Friday to open a facility that will be able to accommodate up to 2,500 people.
The facility will be built in an area along the Embarcadero that will serve as the team’s training facility.
It will include a 1,000-square-foot space for locker rooms, showers and other facilities.
The team will use the space for training camp.
The new facility will also be a training center, according to a statement released by the 49ers.
The stadium and practice fields will be renovated to meet modern amenities.
The 49ers and the city of San Francisco have been in talks about the remodel since 2016, when the team signed a deal to use the existing Levi’s Stadium.
The city is hoping to get the project done in time for the team to play its first home game there in 2019.
